I'm new here, I just brought a GMC300, having trouble connecting it to my W7ult desktop, It says it opened Com1 but I want to use a USB socket. Can someone help ple? |

| Suggestion: Download and install the geiger counter USB driver (follow the installation guide). The USB port that the counter is connected to should respond to one of the comm port selections. |

I have just downloaded what I think is the right USB setup software, the web page is a bit jumbled up tho huh! versions and dates seem to be all over the page which I found confusing, not critizeing, just my obversation.
Now I will try it out.
Sorry abt the late reply, I'm a bit overloaded with things to do here.
