I received a GMC-320 for Christmas. As advertised here
http://www.gqelectronicsllc.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4560
, it is sensitive to Beta, Gamma, and X-ray. But if you look at the specs for the M4011 tube, it says it's only sensitive to beta and gamma? Which one is correct?

ZLM, thanks for reply.
I have a few more questions
1) is the tube energy-compensated?
2) is there a schematic available for the GMC-320?
3) is the blue potentiometer for adjusting the tube voltage?
Thanks

1. I do not think the tube is energy-compensated.
2. No. The GMC-320 is not a open source project.
3. Yes. There is a blue potentiometer for adjusting the tube voltage. But the range of voltage adjusting is limited.

Gewehr : X-rays are gamma rays, their energy change a little but they are of the same nature. So a tube that detects gammas detects x-rays.
The tube is not energy compensated.
