The screen on my device is slowly going bad. There is a black squiggle slowly creeping across the screen. Where can I find a replacement LCD, would GQ send me one?

The device is still under warranty and has not been modified, but I am afraid to RMA it because I suspect GQ will send a replacement with a newer board (one without adjustable voltage). I want to keep the adjustable voltage for future mods, but so far, the device has not been tampered with (aside from removing the cover to look at the board) or abused.

From what I can tell, the screen is a jlx12832a-3g ST7565R 128x32. I found a spec sheet for it (h**p://www.jlxlcd.cn/UpFile/2010123121219.pdf) and could maybe rig something if I match up the pins in the spec, but I can’t find a direct replacement.

GMC-300E+ w/ "GMC320+ V6.1 2017.08.10" labeled board.

Hi Paladin, the LCD you found seems to be compatible but is not guaranteed. You can also contact customer support at support@gqelectronicsllc.com with your order number or serial number, they might be able to help you.

Update: I was actually out of warranty. The device was my older one. GQ sold me a replacement screen directly after I contacted them.
