Hi,

I have an EMF-390 which took some damage in the heat of battle.
First, kudos for building a tough little device. Mine has been dropped numerous times onto hard flooring and even concrete yet the only casualty is the screen after over a year of abuse.

When the screen did go out, only half was destroyed. I would love to blame directed energy weapons, but even though I have seen an electron beam cause this device to blink off and back on, this damage occurred from rapid deceleration on impact with a hard surface.

What is the display part number and who/where can I purchase another? I have experience desoldering/resoldering LCDs and the EMF390 is needed so downtime of sending odf for repairs is not an option unless absolutely necessary. Can post pics of the repair process if requested (assuming successful repair).

Hi Scaler, please email support to check if they have the spare LCD for EMF-390.
