Hi,
I am getting started with my recently purchased GMC-500+, so a newbie. The issue I have is that I cannot seem to get it to rotate to vertical. It works either way horizontal ok and will flip automatically on the auto setting.
It is on Rev 2.28, maybe it would be worth trying a firmware update? Please can someone tell me how I can upgrade the firmware as I haven’t so far been able to find out how.

| Hi Geiger Wilts, you need to wait up to 3 seconds to get it to change the orientation. And make sure the Swivel mode in the menu is on "Auto". |

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried with ‘Swivel Display’ set to both ‘Auto’ and ‘Vertical’, unfortunately neither work, no matter how long I wait. And I have tried holding it as vertical as possible but no joy.

The vertical Mode should force it to vertical mode. Are you using the "Large Font Mode"? Because other modes does not support vertical, only Large font mode. |
