Why is the Geiger counter always going back to factory settings after updating the firmware? Is there a way to update the firmware without loosing all settings?

depending on firmware version parameter memory mapping can change, so certanly it is more secure to do like this

Ok, thanks. Hopefully in future there will be a way that the wifi data and other settings stay.
