It appears that the EMF-380 RF spectrum has a lower freq bounds of 153KHz. I have several different issues where I need to see the spectrum displayed down to ~120 or ~130KHz. Is there a possible software solution to this type of issue or are there HW limitations blocking this. If there's a clever way (Hack) to do this it would be really cool. Any suggestions? I was thinking I could generate a signal at these lower freq's to see if they show up on the EF/EMF mode. This may be somewhat useful, but I can't resolve what freq is actually being picked up by the meter in that mode.
If anyone can help with this let me know. Even at the risk of voiding a warranty. I can always get another device for ~$100.
So far, love my EMF-380.

We tested the 120-130KHz it can be picked up by EMF, up to 400KHz. And we tried to tune the spectrum band 153-534 to 120-510, but it was only able to work from 150KHz. And the 153-534 band can pick up RF with this range. |

Thanks for the effort.
I will try generating a signal in this range and monitoring it on EMF mode to see how it works.

You're welcome. Thanks for purchasing EMF-380! Maybe try generating signals from 153-534 first to see how strong you need the signal to be detected. If you have more questions about the device, feel free to ask. |
