Steps to fix your soldering iron. There are 5 most important steps you must follow,
1) Factors of a Broken Soldering Iron
If your filament is broken.Then the soldering iron is not working, first is the wires on the plug to your soldering iron, you have to test it using a multitester
2) The Materials
You can use it as some electrical tape or tape
3)Removing the Filament
You can go with any types of steps to remove the filament of the soldering iron depending on the type of your soldering iron.
4)Removing the Filament 2
You can remove it by the use of cutter pliers.
5) Your Soldering Iron Is Now Working.
At last test your soldering iron.

Hi...Any tips to getting the solder to adhere to the board better? I'm trying to replace a transistor on my early stern SDB and the solder is collecting on the leg of the transistor, but I cannot get it to sit in the hole that the leg sits in to make good contact.
