Hi,

I love my GQ 5200 station and it's been working fine for over 2 years now. Recently, when I turn on the iron, I get no display...I have to flip the switch back off and on again once or twice before it starts.

Is this just a switch problem that might need cleaning or should I be looking at something on the circuit board?

Many thanks for your help!

Raymond

Never mind, I fixed it myself. Turns out the power switch was defective so I cleaned it with de-oxit and all is back to normal.

Still would be nice do know there is support for this station. I wonder why ZLM doesn't answer??

I had quite amazing experience of using my GQ 5200 station for soldering.
But there's a constant 60hz hum coming out of it, which irritates sometimes!
