I like to have the map centered on my actual counter position when I go to www.gmcmap.com/index.asp without being logged in.
Registering the counter I inserted the position but always the map start showing the U.S.A..

Is this possible to insert the coordinates or the Counter ID in the URL? How?

Thank you

Looks like the world map server is running again. At least I have not found any wrongdoing yet. Thanks for fixing and for the effort.

We are still working on the map. Display might not be there but the history if you login.

Thank you very much, I hope you find the mistake. Good luck !

Restarted the server but still has something wrong. It is hard to tell but we are looking for why it became this way.

The World Map Server is totally crazy. Opening in a new tab does not help anymore and the refresh button has no effect. The own GMC stations are no longer displayed. I think there is a bigger crash. Please support try to fix it!

I think now it's a total crash, because sometimes you see a few station icons and another time no. The own GMC station, one does not see, although the connection to the server exists. Very strange. My two GMCs are broadcasting at two minutes intervals, but do not appear on the world map.

Edit: Maybe a runtime problem? Hahaha, I need a new tab for each station that works, but not always.

Looks like it crashed again...

Edit. Looks like sometimes doesn't work. Mostly doesn't work.
If doesn't work, open with a new tab.

Now you do not see any GMC stations icons on the world map as soon as you are logged in!

A lot of thanks, that would be nice.

Hi Geo-Johnny, looks like logging in is the only way for the map to be centered at your position. Your suggestions are good. We will see if we can implement it.

Interesting would be a button on the side of the world map, which makes it possible to share the current map position via a link. This would make it possible to send the position of your own GMC stations to friends. Maybe the support could set up this feature?

Under "Manage Geiger Counter" you can determine the position of your GMC. You also need to specify the position in your profile and set a zoom level for the map. 12 is a good choice. Automatically to the right position you only come when you are logged in. Whether an automatic login via URL is possible, I do not know, because you have to wait for the answer of the support. That would interest me too, but I think it will not be possible.
