Hi everyone, looked but didn't see a clear answer on the forum nor device description (might overlooked it)

Looking at buying a 500+ version but wanted to know

I read you can activate or not the sound for the CPM clicks(nice but not to have all day in your room)
If I set it disabled to have no constant clicking, does it have some alarm going off when you reach a dangerous level (something like a smoke alarm for ex) ? I want to avoid to be dependant of the cloud and have a PC running 24/24 for this.

Thanks

The option to separately change clicks on or off and to change alarm sound on or off exists since very old firmwares, if not from the very beginning. And no indication that this will change.

You can easily set it in GeigerLog:

We have 56 chances locally and seen the age and below par maintenance .. I'm afraid you are right ... and since politics are doing everything to slow down any alternative ...

I think it's better to take the latest version, which integrates the old functions. in france the various crises are just beginning, we haven't seen anything yet I think. :=(

I have an old 500+ when the alarm goes on it automatically reactivates the buzzer.
