I've installed the driver first then plug in the GMC500, just keeps saying device not recognised. Also got this message at some point,
Port_#0004.Hub_#0002
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

I have unistalled and re installed numerous times still the same

Yippee wow thats great thats worked thanks,the hub was the problem.I only have two usb ports so was also using a hub(unpowered}
all good now using the spare port.

Try to change USB cable,
and connect it directly on a main PC USB port, not after a hub if it.:)
Also check that you do not have too many USB devices connected to the PC.

I've tried that now several times, It says the correct driver is already installed but its still device not reconised and still a yellow exclamation mark in device manager and obviously Data viewer is not working, plus port reset failed thats been there since the start.

Hi tubelabs, Windows 10 already has the driver preinstalled. Try to uninstall and try again without installing.

If it doesnt work, go to device manager and update the driver of the unknown device.
