How do I know what setting to set it on so the alarm goes off at dangerous high reading.

I see under alarm settings it gives me a range. I dont know what I should set it on. Which are high and which are normal.

I recommend Building Biology safety standards, which are very conservative. This forum post discusses those standards, among a number of other things.
