This morning I awoke to the constant chirping of the GMC-500+ and "Dosimeter mode Dose Alarm" displayed on the screen. I haven't touched the device in weeks. Timer says its been on 37 days. Why would this suddenly happen, I didn't put it in dosimeter mode. Maybe that is default. I turned off the Alarm sound, but it's still counting in the Millions.

You can set the dose alarm to a very high value.

Thank-You. That worked. Is it possible to not have it alarm on the dosimeter count?

Hi bdmeyer, you need to reset the dosimeter in dosimeter mode by pressing S3 button.
