Posted - 07/21/2022 : 15:23:57 It would be great if the spectrum bands could be changed to cover the ham bands. The only one it covers is 6 meters 50-54 mhz. Need the hf and vhf UHF bands covered. Not just the browser mode. Us hams would like to measure in detail in the ham bands. The instrument would display frequency on the displays. I use the tinySA but the meter has some interesting stuff. If a single range could be selected would be great. De K8HTB

Posted - 06/16/2021 : 09:55:48 The EMF supports the spectrum from these frequency bands: 2.4 - 2.5 GHz 779 - 928 MHz 387 - 464 MHz 300 - 348 MHz 76 - 108 MHz 65 - 76 MHz 50 - 65 MHz
The general RF/RF browser from .01-10Ghz can detect those frequencies but is not calibrated along those. It is better to use the RF Spectrum to measure specific frequency. |

Plus the 40M band: 7.0 to 7.3 MHz, the 20M band 14 MHz to 14.35 MHz, the 10 Meter band: 28-29.7 MHz, the 2M band: 144 to 148 MHz, the 1.25M band: 222 to 225 MHz, the 70cm band: 420-450 MHz, the 33cm band: 902-928 MHz, and the 23cm band: 1240-1300 MHz. Those are some of the Amateur Radio Service (Ham) bands. So is there a GQ instrument that can make mW/cm2 measurements at those frequencies? There is a need for that now due to new FCC regulations. |

Posted - 06/09/2021 : 09:32:29 Hi WA6EJO, are you talking about 80MHz bands? It is covered in general RF .01-10GHz and also is included in Spectrum 76-108MHz. |
