Posted - 09/19/2020 : 09:01:37 Hello to everyone,
I recently purchased the device and have some questions. I think i see a bit high EF reading in my working area (desk with computer, ups, hi fi, speakers, etc.) The readings are about 10-60 V/m.
From the manual i understand that the EF sensor is on top of the device and to the middle? And that in all three types of measurement, the proper way is to hold the device horizontally from the bottom part and approach the source this way?
Is there any special way to calibrate the EF sensor?
The weird thing i see is that when i place the device upright, sideways to the left or sideways to the right, i get three different readings for EF. Upright may be about 50V/m, to the left about 5, to the right about 25. I am talking about the same spot, just changing the placement of the device. Also, placing either my left or right hand on the device raises the EF reading from 1/3 to 1/2 of the live reading! But the above only occur among electronic equipment (monitor, ups, PC, keyboard, router, hdds, speakers, etc). When the device is placed on a neutral space with no EF or minimal readings, there is no difference in the readings when changing position or placing the hand on the device.
Any comments or advice on the above? Thanks. |
