The command for downloading data from the GQ-390 is:

<SPIR[hi][mi][lo][b1][b0]>>
where [hi][mi][lo] is byte offset,
[b1][b0] is amount of data.

How do you know when you have reached the end of the data? What is the return code from the GQ-390?

Hi sprezzatura, you can check if the amount of data received so far is equal to the requested ([b1][b0] amount in hex) and/or you can put a timeout.
