Posted - 05/12/2019 : 10:09:34 I am very, very confused. If I am holding the meter near an electric source I get much higher values than having the meter in exactly the same position and me not touching it.
Am I acting as an antenna?
Can anyone explain? |

Posted - 05/20/2019 : 08:52:19 bizdi, that might be because your body is close to other EF sources that the meter, like light bulb, carpet, ETC. It is best if you point the upper part of the device to the source. |

Posted - 05/20/2019 : 08:47:34 Ok, so can we ignore the EF readings that are made with our hands on the device? This means that in order to obtain a correct EF reading, the device should be left near the source and be observed from 20-50 cm?
I'm having this issue on my desk that has a computer monitor. When i hold the device in hand the readings are 6-700 V/m but if leave the device near the computer monitor and observing it from 20-30cm the value is between 10-20 V/m.
I read the user manual and there is nothing mentioned about this issue.
Another thing that is unclear, the sensors will read their best in a vertical or orizontal position of the device?
