GQ EMF-390 provides both, LF and HF measurements per second that I read out to perform analyses. Mathematically this is field strength in V/m and Power density in pW/cm² for one second.
In electrotechnics it is advised to calculate average values with a root square mean and not use the arithmetic mean to get the effective value of electric power.
Are measurements of GQ EMF-390 based on U(eff) and I(eff) or not?
I need that information for the calculation of average values. (a) To get the average value in a time frame of 6 minutes, can I use the arithmetic mean (Sum/count of measured Values) or
(b) do I have to calculate the root mean square... Square root of ( sum of squared measurement values / count of measurements )
