Hi, When every single thing in the house is off, modem unplugged, A/C etc. why is there still a 1.2/3 reading at all times. Never goes to zero.

Outside if there are high voltage power lines.

Where would this background noise be coming from? If I'm trying to reduce my exposure... "background noise from surrounding EMFs"

It is maybe background noise from surrounding EMFs, but if you want to zero it out, you can go to Main Menu -> Init Setup -> EMF Offset -> set it to -1.2.
