Good morning,
I ordered an EMF-390 v2 (serial: 90 A2 47 53 36 39 39 03 47 31 31 35) from Amazon France and received it on December 23.
Since the day of receipt, it has constantly displayed an abnormal "RF Spectrum" in the 387-464 MHz frequency band, associated with a displayed frequency of 429 to 432 MHz in "Vertical RF mode", even though I live in full nature.
From a distance of 2 meters from my WIFI router (Freebox delta) in transmission mode, it is always 429 to 432 MHz in Vertical RF mode which is displayed.
To check, I drove 20 km in places with little traffic: the display always remained the same, as well as during the 6 km on foot.
Finally, I looked at what happened when I turned off the screen. It's the same.
Finally, I checked if this EMF-390 radiated with an ED65 (Cornet Electrosmog Meter): no radiation.
Thinking that this device is defective, I ordered a second one on Amazon France.
I received this EMF-390 v2 (serial: 80 55 47 53 36 39 39 08 47 31 31 35) on December 28.
The behavior is exactly the same, with always the same phantom signal in the 387-464 MHz band, which blocks the correct display of frequencies in "Vertical RF Mode".
Has anyone had the same problem?
What should I do if this device is defective.

J'ai commandé un EMF-390 v2 (serial : 90 A2 47 53 36 39 39 03 47 31 31 35) chez Amazon France et l'ai reçu le 23 décembre.
Depuis le jour de la réception, il affiche constamment un "RF Spectrum" anormal dans la bande de fréquence 387-464 Mhz, associé à une fréquence affichée de 429 à 432 MHz en "mode Vertical RF", alors que j'habite en pleine campagne.
A partir d'une distance de 2 mètres de mon routeur WIFI (Freebox delta) en mode émission, c'est toujours 429 à 432 MHz en mode Vertical RF qui est affiché.
Pour vérifier, j'ai fait 20 km en voiture dans des lieux peu fréquentés : l'affichage est toujours resté le même, ainsi qu'au cours des 6 km à pied.
Enfin, j'ai regardé ce que cela donne en éteignant l'allumage. C'est pareil.

Hello from France,
I have exactly the same spectrum, i am certified ham radio operator and compared with SDR radio spectrum with an mini airspy and wide band antenna. The EMF 390 is very creative in signals but do not seem to be a measure instrument on this band, on FM brodcast band also, i have a 10 Kw FM antenna at 400 meters and a lot of measures have been made from my home by technicians and me (technician also) they indicates about 2 to 3 V/m or 1 to 2.5 µW/cm2; the EMF 390 indicates 0.01 µW/cm2 in RF mode and fabulous 80 V/m in EF mode.
I have put images of that on EMF 390 in 380-480 Mhz band and FM band post.

hi ceki, it is probably the ambient RF detected by the meter. It is not even a high reading, it is very low. |
