Posted - 10/05/2022 : 12:00:34 Good morning everyone. Recently, I have published my geieger data on the World Map site. I noticed that the values of the various stations are expressed in CPM. We know that for a GMC 600+, 50 cpm is equivalent to 0.143 uSv / h (50/348) but the same cannot be said for a GMC 500+ that uses another coefficient ... So if for a gmc600 + a value of 50 cpm is equivalent to the bottom, this cannot be said also for a gmc 320 or gmc500 +. Wouldn't it have been better to indicate the values expressed in uSv / h (which should be the same for all) instead of the CPMs which are subjective to the type of geiger used? |
