Hello,

I'm trying to use my own logging system on my network.
I plan to run a small python script to listen on a port for logging requests and send them into influxdb.
However, when specifying the url there is no way to enter ':'

what should we specify if we want to send request to h**p://192.168.1.250:5555
The 5555 is the port and we need a : to specify it.
Can it only send request to port 80 (or 443).
Does the server has to be ssl or can it be without encryption?

Best regards,

ps:I just received a firmware update (2.19-> latest) but haven't installed it yet as it's windows executable and need to find back some old windows to set it up. Maybe that firmware contains the missing : but still not sure about the http/https

Has anyone managed to set a custom port?

You can use GeigerLog as Ullix stated or you can use the software provided by GQ

Download the latest version of GQGMCDataViewerV2.62.exe and that would solve your issue.

https://www.gqelectronicsllc.com/fw/GQGMCDataViewerV2.62.exe

From this software that runs on Windows you can do everything.

If the matter is only to enter a certain character, then this can be done with GeigerLog.

Whether the counter would honor the specification of a port is a different matter.
