I just bought a new GMC 320 v5. It is always giving high readings above 0.20 usv. Is it possible that my geiger counter is contaminated? Maybe during factory calibration with radioactive source?

We're not sure yet. Where is it 50 CPM? Have you tested it outside or other places?

About 50 cpm. Maybe because of radon?

Hi Boyalon, what is the CPM in your unit? Have you tested it somewhere else? It's impossible that it got contaminated during factory calibration.
