I could not decide at the beginning either. First I bought the GMC 320+V5 to gain experience and two months later I bought the GMC500+. Both devices can send the values via Wifi to the Worldmap server and both devices are great. I use the GMC 320+ stationary and the GMC 500+ mobile. |

Posted - 07/11/2019 : 14:42:40 Because of CPU limitations, the 320 is only a 16-bit cpu. The buttons are ok. The 500 button is easier to press. And both are using the same kind of buttons inside. The 500 feels better in the hand but the 320 'looks' more robust/solid(because of the color?). |

Posted - 07/11/2019 : 14:10:41 What makes the 500 have a higher count rate? It uses the same tube so I'm sorta confused about that. Also, how do the buttons feel on the 500 compared to the 320? From what I see the 320 uses membrane/metal dome buttons, but can't tell what the 500 uses. One last thing, how does the quality of each counter feel? |

Posted - 07/11/2019 : 14:07:04 Hi DomTheDorit, the 320+ is not bad. But I'd recommend you get the 500 because: 1. It has higher detection range. The 320 can only go up to 65k CPM 2. it can submit data directly to the gmcmap via WiFi 3. Has longer battery life
If you don't care about these upgrades then go for the 320. |
