I can get Protected or unprotected 14500 batteries and I'm not sure which would be better for this device.
But I need to know a bit about the charging system of the 300E+ Specifically....
Does the unit turn itself off when the battery level drops to a certain voltage and if so, what is that cutoff voltage?

Posted - 06/21/2017 : 08:32:55 All GQ GMC Geiger counters has built in protected charging circuit. It accepts both protected and not protected batteries.
As long as it is 3.7V Li-ion rechargeable batteries, they will work.
