New out of box. In setting time, the seconds field comes up with 90 in the window. Up or Down keys only change the 90 to 80, i.e. can not enter a valid time so pop up window "set time and date" always remains on screen rendering unit non-usable.

I think the problem is on the hardware side. The real time clock chip may have contacting problem(cold soldering maybe).
You can open the case and check that 8 pin chips soldering condition. The chip is located just below the Charger On-Off jumper pin(close to the battery at PCB corner).
If you do not understand the electronics, then you need to write an email to support@gqelectronicsllc.com for the return/replacement RMA code. You can get a replacement. |
