Good Evening I purchased the GMC-080 and was reading several posts regarding using a 11M ohm resistance meter to measure the correct voltage on the circuit for specific tubes, I have not been able to find any 11M ohm meters all I can find anywhere are 10M ohm. also is this the impedance resistance or is this something different, can you recommend a low cost if available meter for this, and would a 10M ohm resistance meter work the same way???

The value of resistor placed on the ANODE side of the tube is depending on the tube. That is not for measuring the voltage, it is a DC current regulator resistor.
For all high voltage measuring, 1000Mohm or 1Gohm serial resistor on the meter is the best. |

I assume that the 1000Mohm or 1Gohm serial resistor is best placed on the ANODE side of the tube? Just checking.

Thanks for the response, I thought that I would need to adjust the calculation for a 10 Meg ohm meter, but wanted to be sure. |

Do get accurate voltage reading, you need to serial a 1G Ohm resistor to probe and then calculate the actual voltage reading.
