Every hour or 2 I get huge spike that only last 20 secs or so every time I put it in my basement for hours.
CPM 400 to 645 to 945 @ 8 uSv/h seems to last for 20 secs usually
Avg 65 to 95 CPM after 12am with spike to 109 CPM for few seconds

There was a spike of 664 CPM for 10 seconds @ 11:07 pm (heater on at 11p)
649 CPM for 10 seconds @ 11:37 pm
629 CPM for 10 seconds @ 12:47 am
625 CPM for 10 seconds @ 1:47 am
540 CPM for 10 seconds @ 2:17 am
633 CPM for 10 seconds @ 2:47 am
653 CPM for 10 seconds @ 2:57 am
(All the 7's are from the computer reading times)

The spike sames not correct. Where did you get those data? from unit or from software you downloaded history data. Those may not be correct data since the time is soo accurate on each hour. This may be a data viewer software bug on that specific time. It will be fixed in next software release. Please send your data file to support@gqelectronicsllc.com for the software bug fixing.

Howevwer, your basement seems has higer radiation than normal. Avg 65 to 95.
