I'm proud owner of the EMF-390 which is amazing for the price, good job GQ Electronics
My question is, I've got this meter and I am getting reads of 60 volts per meter when the meter is over the table 1.5 meters away from the screen/computer. When I take it from the downside with my hand it goes to 100-200 volts per meter.
If I put it near metal without any electricity it goes to 500 V/M. It only happens in certain rooms of the house where electronic components like computer, speakers, sound devices are.
In different rooms with almost no electronic devices it happens the same. When I go to the street, the volts per meter goes really low like 5-10.
I wonder if there is a problem with the grounding in my building and the static or electricity is all around the house. In my neighbour's house it happens the same.
EF Factor is 100% and RF Density Gain is 10
Model is V2 and revision 3.69 - Serial N. available if required
Hi Jose, I believe I have replied to your email. Most likely those EF are just static EF. AC EF comes from power lines and usually at under high voltage power lines. And yes it is possible that there is a grounding issue on the building that causes high EF readings. Looks like you have the latest version of EMF.
