Hi. Does anyone know how long a fully-charged GQ320 and a GQ500+ will record data on power-saving mode, provided that the built-in memory is completely erased? I'd like to set up a long-term test and I've seen high-voltage EM interference from high voltages nearby affecting the CPM count when the USB cable is inserted. Therefore, battery-power only... Thanks,
Are you getting the interference by just inserting a cable without anything connected at the other end, or only when the other end is connected to a computer? or also when connected to a USB wall charger?
what about a connection to a self-standing power-bank?
Interferences with high voltage AC signals are due to a capacitive coupling between the source of the interference (often a cable) and the cathode of the tube which is used to measure the current to count the pulses.
In this conditions, if we simply touch the meter with the hand it will also increase strongly the interferences sensitivity.
These are test conditions that must be avoided in all cases. why do you want to do this?
