To reduce the file size and "useless idle readings" data I would like to have the counter only log readings above 50 CPM as I have seen strange spikes above that once in a while. Can someone tell me? I have the data logging on CPM threshold of 50 currently and other threshold settings at 0. This setting manged to give me about 20 readings and then stopped abruptly. What the heck is going on? At this point I want to return this for real if it can't do what it is supposed to do.
You don't need to set other threshold, you just set the threshold of the CPM to 50 and don't tough the other ones. Make sure the CPM has the asterisk when you exit.
I set the device how you say exactly and no data change compared to yesterday where it recorded exactly 18 lines (every minute) with last 2 lines incomplete. Since last night I should have exactly 2 readings which spiked above 50 but I have none. Look here h**p://www.gmcmap.com/historyData.asp?Param_ID=31921055058
For every second threshold, once it detects >= 50 CPM, it will save the CPS until the cpm is < 50. That's why the 20 readings are the CPS when the CPM is >50. You should actually try setting the mode to Every Minute Threshold. It will save the CPM(not the cps) when it reaches 50 and then every minute after if it's still greater than 50.
