Hello,

if data is saved every second, how long can i record data, before it is overwritten again (loop) ?

GQ (contacted via amazon) told me "several days", but from what i observed, it is more like only 5 hrs ?

Indeed in CPS mode it could be as short as ~4 hours but no longer that ~18 hours for the 64kB memory present in the old devices, depending on the count rate.

See a discussion in Appendix E of the GeigerLog manual (https://sourceforge.net/projects/geigerlog/files/ )

With memory of 1MB as in the younger devices it is proportionately longer.

I guess i will swap the GMC 300 for the GMC 320.
