Just sits there at 0CPM. It's going back for a refund. I should have known better. All my Cold War era equipment that is MADE IN USA is working perfectly. |

Deputy, did GQ contact you about this problem? Did you need an RMA number? My LCD display just stopped working and I'd like the unit repaired, but don't know how to get the ball rolling. Thanks. |

Prvide your order reference so that they can check the warranty and send you the RMA accordingly.

Mine was VERY new and still covered under E-Bay's return policy and GMC's return policy. So I had no problem sending it back for a refund. |

Your return item has received and tested, but no problem found. It works very good. GQ has sent you a full refund.
I saw you have posted some negative reviews on the internet. Are you working for a competitor of GQ? |

Nope, not working at all I am a retired Deputy Sheriff. I also live in the USA, where free speech is a Constitutional Right. I also noticed when I replaced the battery YOU recommended with the battery that came with the product, it appeared to start working again. Perhaps the dimensions of the replacement battery are too large and it was interfering with the proper operation of the product? Whatever the case, I am happy and grateful for the refund. I immediately went on E-Bay and bought a CDV-700 USA-made geiger counter from the early 50s, and it is working great. I also note that there are all kinds of problems cropping up with your geiger counters. Perhaps you should worry more about that, then trying to accuse me of being from a competitor. |

That is good to hear from you. I believe that GQ always improves its products. They already completed to add the off-state battery charging status display. Thank you for your input on this. Also, all newly shipped GMC-300E have installed a USA 9V rechargeable battery. This should works much better than previous used battery. There are others features coming soon. The new version computer software also just released with useful features. GQ always appreciate any feedback on products. Regardless good or bad. |

ZLM: Now THAT is the kind of thing I like to hear and will get me to re-consider buying another GMC unit. I need a unit that I can leave on 24/7 for permanent monitoring at the NETC.com monitoring location.I was serioulsy considering the GMC-200 for that purpose as that is what many of them use. |

If you want to monitor a fixed location with a computer, then your CDV-700 should be good enough. You do not need to buy another. But the GMC-300E and GMC-320 are able to carry around and change the location anytime without lost the data. |
