I’m a new owner of your EMF-390 meter.
I’ve noticed an issue: the screen backlight appears to affect the RF measurement results.
I placed the meter on the ground, set the units to µW/m², and covered it with a metal pot. When the screen backlight is on, the RF reading jumps from around 1 to approximately 25 µW/m². After 30 seconds (which is how I’ve configured the display timeout), the backlight turns off, and the reading becomes more stable, remaining around 1 µW/m².
It seems that the screen backlight is interfering with the RF measurement. I haven’t yet tested the other functions of the meter, so I don’t know if they are affected as well. Please check it in yours device. |

Can anyone also perform such a test, i.e., measure the RF in a location where it's lowest and set the screen backlight to, for example, 15 seconds? Then, check if after 15 seconds when the backlight turns off, the RF result drops or stays the same as when the backlight was on? I want to check if it's just an issue with my meter, or if this is just how the meter works. |

It may be possible due to some frequencies that are used in backlight. But the number is negligible. |
