I accidentally set a sample of the mineral Autunite (hydrated calcium uranyl phosphate) next to my Geiger Counter today. It was collected from the Daybreak Mine on Mount Kit Carson in Spokane County, Washington. Jumped from 15 CPM to 1300 CPM in 20 seconds. I only mention it in case anyone noticed the radiation spike for my reporting station.
