Posted - 08/10/2022 : 12:41:52 I have GeigerLog v1.3.0 setup to log data from my GMC-500+. It works, but whenever I try to activate moving average by clicking on the MvAvg button, the colored icons above the graph, showing the different variables, just disappear, and the program stops logging. If I stop and restart the log, it still doesn't log. If I close the program and reopen it, then it works again. Looks like some module crashes and doesn't get reloaded. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Posted - 08/12/2022 : 00:24:33 The problem was due to outdated Python packages. Recent changes are rarely a problem, but when your versions are really old is when all bets are open.
I very much suggest to read GeigerLog's installation instructions, in particular when you run into problems!

Posted - 08/10/2022 : 23:21:47 I cannot reproduce this situation on my computer, here all is fine.
Please, make a bug report at SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/p/geigerlog/discussion/general/
Open a discussion topic and attach a full log file. To produce a full log, open a terminal, cd into the geigerlog folder, and start GeigerLog with:
./geigerlog -dvw 2>> data/geigerlog.proglog
The geigerlog.proglog is the file I need to see.
