I have to enter a ":" in the Wireless password of a 500+ device but seems that there is no colon on this device...
How can I set the password ? |

@_Aidrini: How desperate are your re your WiFi connection? The next release of GeigerLog will allow some comfortable editing of the GMC configuration, see pic.
I am looking for someone to give it a test run. If you are interested, I could do a pre-release - so far works for the 500+, may need some more tuning for other devices.
I am developing and running GeigerLog on Ubuntu, but as it is based on Python it will run on Windows, Mac, ...

@ihab17: the GMC500+ gets its WiFi from an ESP12S chip assembly, which is based on an ESP8266 microprocessor. And this one only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. Even its bigger cousin, the wonderful ESP32, only supports 2.4 GHz. |

I tried to connect my new GMC-600+ and also the previous counter I sent back to Amazon GMC-500+ to my Wifi with no luck. I'm sure about the password and Wifi name. It seems the device cannot connect to a 5.0 GHz Wifi and needs to be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wifi, can you confirm this please? |

Unfortunately, it does not support linux or android. |
