Posted - 11/23/2017 : 08:15:51 I'm trying to view dose rates in mR/h with the data viewer program with data recorded from a GMC 500+ device. I was hoping to be able to quickly and easily see what doses were at particular times and dates, and maybe even get an approximate total dose. All it gives me is a blue line labeled "activity". It doesn't give a unit of measurement. The "y" axis on this graph isn't even labeled. I don't have a pink line at all even though the graph indicates a pink line represents "Type". Am I doing something wrong here?
Right now this program is basically useless. |

The "R" unit (Röntgen) should be considered deprecated. Unless you have a stringent reason for R, better go with the new standard "Sv" unit (Sievert), like in µSv/h. Fortunately, their relationship is simple: 1 mR/h = 10 µSv/h |
