I read the manual and looked around the website, but I was not able to find the answer to a couple of questions about the GMC-500+.
How are the counts from the dual tubes merged? Is there some formula like CPM = 10*TUBE2 + TUBE1 ?
Is there any way to log or individually see the outputs of the two tubes?
Finally, what does the GMC-500+ report when one or both tubes are saturated (ionization events happening faster than the dead time)?
Thank you for any answers!

Posted - 11/02/2017 : 10:43:35 There is a way to calculate the overall level over two tubes. But it is not in a simple formula. In fact, that is the one of the hardest part of the algorithm for the due tubes system.
Yes. There are commands to read CPMs from two different tubs.
