Friendly greetings radioactive enthusiast !

What would you recommend for radioisotope identification ?
I'm looking for a cheap portable spectrometer. eg : a polimaster as seen on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLeHeZGXtXg

If i find something radioactive, i want to know what it is, nothing else really...

Thx <3

i guess ebay will be my BFF. Used scintillation probe are much *much* cheaper than new one.

It's not high end of course. It's fun that ultimately the accuracy depend of the accuracy of the sound card since measurement are converted to sound.

Haha: "Our gamma spectroscopy (spectrometry) systems are as good as any"
Well, that instill much confidence in their products, does it?

I've come across this company that makes scintillation detectors and laptop interfaces to save cost (I have no personal experience with them though).
