My GMC-200, purchased in July, was working fine 3 weeks ago. I tried to use it Monday and it didn't register any counts on a known sample. I plugged in the charger and charged it several hours, no change. I left it plugged in and no change. Charged it an entire day, no change.

When I turn the unit on it makes a brief chirp and flashes the LED, then goes quiet.

I checked the battery voltage: 10.15V. I even replaced it with a new battery, no change.

I need help to identify the problem or get a replacement, I need it for a collecting trip in 3 weeks.

Thanks,
Mike

Sent a support email several days ago, no reply. No one answers the 3 phone numbers (two on the home page, one of which is disconnected, and one on my receipt).

It seems you have found the problem now. If not, check the tube voltage to con firm the tube voltage.
