Hey guys.
Just bought GMC-300e and loving it! My biggest concern is battery life. How long do your 300e's run for before recharge?
I've been reading lots of Russian forums, and their #1 choice "Terra-P" seem to work days and days on AA batteries... I would love to keep 300e on for as long as I can...
Let me know what should I expect from 280 mAh rechargeable 9v. I know there are 550 mAh version available, anyone upgraded theirs? |

The runing time is depending on how you use it. Try to turn the power saving mode on and set LCD back light timer to 4-5 seconds.
The non-rechargeable battery always last longer than rechargeable battery.
The original 280mAh battery is not last very long. You can change it to other if you want.
If you use a Energizer Non-Rechargeable Batteries, then is will last days.(With power saving mode). Do not forget set the batter jumper to Charger-Off position.
I changed my one to Tenergy 250mAh NiMh rechargeable battery, it last much longer than the one comes with the machine(yellow 280mAh battery).
