We want to acquire a new Geiger Muller counter for the annual leak test and classroom presentations. They seem to be extremely costly. Any ideas?

You can get the GQ counters for under $100, and other Chinese counters for half that price. If you find this "extremely costly" you sure have a problem!

What you need depends on what you want to do - what is an "annual leak test" and how had it been done before, and what kind of "classroom presentations" are you planning for?
